Dr. Weyrich is proud to announce that he has recently completed training in the use of the Neuro-Gen High Performance Neurofeedback (HPN) system and has purchased the special equipment needed for this technique. This new neurofeedback technique required significantly fewer neurofeedback sessions than conventional neurofeedback techniques, is more cost-effective for patients, and much easier for patients, especially those who are unable to focus on conventional feedback modalities. This new system is ideal for traumatic brain injuries arising from both sports and motor-vehicle accidents.

Biofeedback has also shown to benefit a broad range of neurological and mental issues. Biofeedback techniques include Heart Rate Variability training, thermal and galvanic skin response training, and Neurofeedback.

Neurofeedback is a form of biofeedback based on using Quantitative Electroencephalography (QEEG) to obtain a "brain-map" of the patient, which is then compared to a database of "normal" brain-maps of age-and-gender-matched individuals. Neurofeedback techniques are then used to teach the patient how to use neuroplasticity to "restructure" the activity of his/her own brain to match the corresponding normative database brain-maps. Dr. Weyrich has been certified in neurofeedback since 2008, and recently he completed an additional residency training program at ADD Clinic of Scottsdale, AZ.

Dr. Weyrich now offers biofeedback and neurofeedback training sessions as a complement to other therapies.

In addition, Dr. Weyrich offers a variety of bio-identical hormone balancing protocols that benefit both men and women.

Dr. Weyrich has been trained in the NeuroScience and Neuro-Research amino acid (AA) balancing protocols, which may benefit a broad range of neurological and mental issues by balancing neurotransmitter and sulfur-containing amino acid levels in the body, particularly serotonin, dopamine, and cysteine, through targeted nutrition guided by lab testing. Dr. Weyrich now offers these nutritional protocols as a complement to other therapies.

Neurotransmitter balancing, biofeedback/neurofeedback, and bio-identical hormone balancing all act on the human system in different ways to optimize homeostasis and balance, and can be expected to be synergistic with each other, as well as with conventional treatments.

Note that brain-mapping, neurofeedback, biofeedback, nutritional supplements and testing are not covered by most insurance policies, but may be eligible for payment out of Health Care Savings Accounts.
