Clients Served Through a Job Shop:
Quadras (International Geographics Corporation)
As a C/UNIX Programmer/Administrator:
- I coded and tested a data entry system for the title insurance
industry that included field validation look-ups from a database,
using a combination of C and shell scripts. This system survived
Y2K without any substantial changes.
- I set up serial ports, networking hardware and NFS data
sharing to support the above system.
- When MS-Access was first released, I developed a GUI-interface
demonstration for presentation to clients.
- Using shell scripts for quality assurance and testing, I
found and corrected a number of inconsistencies in field edits.
- Tools used: C, UNIX, shell scripts, MS Access.
