Executive Committee Meeting
June 23, 2001

June 28, 2001

MINUTES OF THE PHONE MEETING BETWEEN ROSELLA QUINN AND IVA SHACKELFORD, THE TWO REMAINING MEMBERS OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE, REFORM PARTY OF ARIZONA.

Discussion took place between Rosella Quinn and Iva Shackleford, the only two remaining members of the executive committee of the Reform Party of Arizona, on Saturday June 23, 2001. Meeting lasted approximately one hour by phone.

Discussion regarding Dr. Weyrich accepting the position of Interim Chairman of the Reform Party of Arizona was the first topic. It was mutually agreed that he serve in that position.

Discussion regarding holding a state convention on July 14, 2001 was next item and it was mutually agreed that the convention be held so that we may elect delegates and fill vacancies in the Arizona executive board, review all by-laws, and focus on Arizona voters and voter registration.

Discussion of subjects that should be addressed at the state convention included subjects of

  1. voter fraud,
  2. whether we want to retain the Reform Party name,
  3. whether it would be practical to hold phone meetings due to the distances of the county representatives and difficulties in travelling those distances,
  4. whether we should dispense altogether any mention of either Mr. Perot or Mr. Buchanan in relationship with the Reform Party of Arizona,
  5. resume taking minutes at convention for publication on web site,
  6. inform all members, past and present of our web site.

Respectfully submitted,

Iva Shackelford
